Goodbye, My Friend

It's always bittersweet when someone you felt such a connection with several times before in the past, no longer serves a purpose in your life. Perhaps you begin to wonder if they ever did. But.. if you felt it, it mattered.

That's the thing about Growth. It leaves people you once knew very well, behind. But it allows room for more incredible people to touch you in new ways.

I love you. For all of the moments we thought we had forever. I cherish you for what we once had. & though we don't care to relate with one another anymore, there isn't any love lost. It's simply been preserved.
