*remember when we watched Mos Def & Talib Kweli perform History in L.A.? I'm going to say, NOW, that THAT is one of my favorite memories of LIFE. Such an amazing song & to have these men perform it & us, wildly in love, witnessing this. Gah! (insert the KING of all words here). None of my bad memories will ever take away the happiness that I still cherish so deeply from that night. I love you. For that. lol.
Moving along. As much advice as our elders provide for us, most of us will continue not giving a damn about their wisdom & choose to live our lives instead.

smh. I LOVE how AFTER we go through some SHIT, we feel guilty but we dare not go up to those that told us YEARS ago, EXACTLY what would happen if we didn't listen.
