What's It Like

Confession: I used to watch 7th Heaven 'cause I appreciated how that family was. You know before the girls started wearing make-up, whoring around, getting pregnant, hormones, etc,.

See, I never REALLY understood the concept of a family. I know what it should be but I also know it doesn't exist. All you need is one to stray..

As mature as I am, there's still that young girl seeking her mother. Wondering why she was no longer first choice. Seeking advice, guidance.. wanting to share secrets.

"I want my mommy."

Doubt I'll ever get over it but I've stopped trying to make something out of nothing.
Mother's BEEN gone & she won't be coming back.

Mind Over Matter

It seems so distant since I rarely slept, rarely spent time with my young one.. I remember working very hard wondering when I will see a reward.

All for nothing, it seems.

We're all getting a bit more lazy. It gets so hard to do the same thing every day all for nothing. No progress, you're actually a step behind.

Something's gotta give.

Hell, who am I kidding? I'm not even trying anymore. Least I haven't been.
I just remember not giving anyone the time. Any time. & I, like most people, do not like being alone.
